A nationwide Commercial Drywall company is seeking a Chief Estimator to oversee all estimating projects within the company for the Eastern half of the United States. This role is crucial as the current Chief Estimator is retiring, and the company is looking for a seasoned professional to fill this vital position. Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
Project Analysis:
- Oversee the analysis of past performance on projects.
- Help establish estimating standards for future projects in the Western half of the United States.
Software Oversight:
- Assist in oversight of the effectiveness of bid management and estimating software.
Standardization:
- Establish standardized estimating methods and processes.
- Train other estimating personnel in standardized methods and processes.
Decision Making:
- Have the final word on procedures, processes, techniques, and personnel decisions for assigned projects.
Salary
- Competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $230,000 per year.

Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience estimating Commercial Drywall.
- Stable work history.
Skills:
- Top-level knowledge of bid management and estimating software.
- Excellent leadership skills.
