To support our operations outside of regular concierge hours, we are seeking a dependable and professional Virtual Medical Receptionist to ensure uninterrupted communication and assistance overnight.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Virtual Medical Receptionist to manage incoming calls, transfer calls as needed, and relay messages via email—all while maintaining full HIPAA compliance. You’ll serve as the first point of contact for families, residents, and healthcare partners during overnight hours, helping ensure no inquiry goes unanswered. The ideal candidate is professional, tech-savvy, and experienced in medical or senior care environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming phone calls promptly and courteously during overnight hours (8 PM to 8 AM)
  • Transfer calls to appropriate on-call staff or voicemail as directed
  • Document and send clear, timely messages via email or internal communication channels
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries submitted through the company website (chat or contact form, if applicable)
  • Ensure all communications are handled with discretion and HIPAA compliance
  • Provide a calm, reassuring presence for families and residents during after-hours

  • Prior experience as a receptionist, customer service representative, or virtual assistant (medical or healthcare setting preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and confidentiality practices
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet work environment for phone handling
  • Tech-savvy with the ability to navigate VoIP systems and web platforms
  • Experience with website live chat or form responses is a plus
  • Ability to work independently, overnight, and with minimal supervision
