The Inside Sales Representative will play a key role in driving revenue growth by generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing clients in the solid waste and recycling industry. This position involves proactively contacting prospective clients, understanding their waste management needs, offering tailored solutions to meet those needs, and securing the business through contracts. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Generation: Identify and qualify new sales leads through cold calling, emailing, and leveraging provided lead lists or CRM tools.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, understanding their waste management and recycling requirements.
• Solution Selling: Present customized waste management solutions, including waste collection, recycling programs, and disposal services, to meet client needs.
• Quoting and Proposals: Prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and contracts for clients, ensuring competitive pricing and alignment with company offerings.
• Pipeline Management: Track and manage sales activities, leads, and opportunities using CRM software to ensure consistent follow-up and progress toward sales goals.
• Customer Support: Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing support for clients.
• Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market demands to effectively position company services.
• Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas and KPIs.

Requirements
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
• Experience: 1-3 years of inside sales, tele sales, or customer service experience, preferably in the waste management, recycling, or environmental services industry.
• Skills:
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.
o Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
o Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office Suite.
o Excellent time management and organizational skills.
o Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with solid waste management, recycling processes, or environmental services is a plus.
