Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot wireless, local, and wide-area networks including access points, switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers
- Implement and support network security infrastructure including firewalls, content filters, VPNs, and network security layers
- Develop network solutions to meet business needs on varying projects
- Mentor and train lower-level technical personnel
- Monitor, analyze, and optimize network performance
Education
- Associate’s degree or two years of major coursework in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, ACMA, PCNSA, F5-CTP, plus CompTIA Network+, Security+, or ITIL Foundations
