Clinical Pharmacist – Mixed or Night Shifts

Shifts Available:
Mixed: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM & 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Nights (7-on / 7-off): 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
Salary Range: $58.15 – $73.56/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials: $3/hr (Evenings), $6/hr (Nights)
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Available (case-by-case)
A leading acute care hospital is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations in a high-acuity environment. This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced team dedicated to quality care, medication safety, and patient outcomes.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Interpret and verify provider orders accurately into the system
Prepare and dispense medications in compliance with pharmacy standards
Monitor drug therapy for interactions, contraindications, and effectiveness
Support formulary management and therapeutic interchange initiatives
Provide clinical services including anticoagulation, renal dosing, IV-to-PO, and pharmacokinetics
Educate staff and patients on drug information and therapy regimens
Document interventions and clinical activity accurately
Support pharmacy operations and technical team supervision
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD from an ACPE-accredited school required
Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing
Acute care hospital experience within the past year required
PGY-1 residency or 1+ year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
Open to new grads with recent hospital internship experience
Preferred Candidate Attributes:
Self-starter with initiative in high-acuity settings
Strong clinical judgment and effective communication
Familiarity with enterprise health systems and EMRs
Prior experience within hospital or health system pharmacy a plus
