Assistant Controller
Skills
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and SaaS accounting principles
- Experience with revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems; experience with NetSuite a plus
- Excellent execution, planning, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities
- Experience working in fast-growing SaaS startup environment
Responsibilities
- Manage month-end close and financial reporting with accuracy and timeliness
- Lead general ledger accounting including revenue recognition, accruals, and reconciliations
- Develop and maintain internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Prepare and review internal and external financial statements and schedules
- Partner with FP&A to align accounting outputs with business needs
- Manage and coordinate annual financial audits with external auditors
- Evaluate and implement accounting systems, automation, and process improvements
- Oversee day-to-day operations of accounts payable, receivable, tax compliance, and payroll
Education
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
