Responsibilities and Impact:
As an Associate Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the global marketing strategy for S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Data, Valuations, & Risk (DVR) Analytics portfolio. This senior position requires an independent, results-driven leader who can collaborate across teams to drive commercial outcomes through strategic marketing investments.
In this role you will:
Develop and implement integrated marketing plans aligned with business priorities, ensuring a client-centric approach tailored to global and regional market nuances.
Own end-to-end campaign execution—from strategy and budget allocation to measurement and reporting—delivering against marketing KPIs with a focus on contributing to commercial results.
Serve as a key liaison between Product, Sales, and Marketing teams, influencing stakeholders beyond your direct reporting line to maximize campaign impact.
Champion innovation by leveraging new technologies, AI-assisted marketing tools, and data-driven insights to optimize performance.
Commit to ongoing learning to stay ahead of industry trends and evolving marketing best practices.
Develop the annual marketing plan and budget, ensuring alignment with DVR business objectives and client segment personas.
Apply a global mindset while tailoring programs to regional needs, collaborating with global and regional teams to adopt best practices. Leverage cross-regional campaigns and content to amplify global impact.
Lead integrated product marketing campaigns that position S&P Global as a thought leader, identify marketing qualified leads, facilitate renewal and client retention
Craft high-impact marketing communications adhering to legal, compliance and brand guidelines.
Utilize marketing automation tools and CRM analytics to measure performance and optimize reach.
Partner with Sales to drive timely lead processing and provide regular and consistent updates to the stakeholders.
Develop sales enablement materials to articulate product value propositions and support revenue growth.
Collaborate with the Global Events team to identify and assess event opportunities, design event engagement and activation strategies, and track ROI.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $102,387 to $149,350. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Basic Required Qualifications:
8+ years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in financial services or related industries.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Proven ability to:
Operate independently while influencing stakeholders at all levels.
Develop impactful campaigns, manage budgets, and cross-functional projects.
Analyze data and report on marketing-driven commercial results.
Expertise in digital, social, and event marketing channels.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Deep understanding of financial markets, with knowledge of securities pricing, reference data, risk analytics, or ETF/index data management.
Familiarity with Salesforce CRM, Marketo, and AI-driven marketing tools.
Experience working in global, matrixed organizations.
Note: Occasional and travel collaboration across time zones may be required.
