- Knowledge of supply chain and supplier development processes

Responsibilities
- Improve quality, cost, delivery, and capacity metrics for mechanical hardware in Starlink satellites
- Collaborate with design, materials, and manufacturing engineers to understand product design intent
- Support procurement by assessing and sourcing suppliers based on manufacturing capabilities
- Define and enforce supplier technical and quality requirements for NPI and production
- Lead resolution of supplier quality issues through root cause analysis and cross-functional liaison
- Implement and monitor production part approval process (PPAP) with suppliers
- Analyze supplier quality and delivery metrics to identify trends and drive improvement plans
- Research new suppliers and manufacturing capabilities
- Drive product and process improvements to reduce cost, risk, and defects
- Manage mission-critical supply chains via strong supplier relationships and communication
- Lead projects and continuously improve the supplier base
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline required
- Master’s degree in engineering, business, or supply chain preferred
