Skills
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- 5+ years of building and maintaining high-quality software
- Product mindset towards infrastructure systems
- Experience with Go and Kubernetes
- Knowledge in observability toolsets and platforms
Responsibilities
- Build observability tools and platforms including metrics, logging, distributed tracing, dashboarding, alerting, and application performance management
- Develop with technologies such as Go, Open Telemetry, and Kubernetes
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service uptime
- Create runtime tools/processes to optimize cloud triaging and reduce downtime
- Define and enforce best practices for making systems and services measurable
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (implied)
