Bookkeeper
Job Title: Bookkeeper (Contract-to-Hire)

Compensation: $30 - $50/hour (DOE)
Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper for a contract-to-hire opportunity within a growing Geotechnical Engineering firm based in Centennial, CO. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general bookkeeping functions and a keen eye for accuracy and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Manage and reconcile billing and cash receipts
- Assist in month-end close procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with internal accounting policies
- Support senior accounting staff with ad hoc financial tasks as needed
- Collaborate with project managers and administrative teams for invoicing and project tracking
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field required
- Minimum of 1 year of professional bookkeeping experience
- Experience in engineering, construction, or professional services industry preferred
- Familiarity with Deltek Vision or Deltek Vantagepoint is a strong plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
