- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 815 and ASC 820.
- Experience with OTC derivative products.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical and judgment skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the go-to expert on derivative accounting within Gemini.
- Liaise closely with trading, risk, finance, and legal teams.
- Oversee the accounting for all derivative instruments.
- Lead month-end valuation and prepare necessary journal entries.
- Design and maintain robust internal controls around derivatives.
Education
- An undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, finance or related field.
- CPA (or equivalent license) and/or CFA.
