HR Assistant

Description

  • Complete Verifications of Employment (VOEs) in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process employment changes including new hire onboarding, terminations, and employee updates (e.g., demographic and job-related changes).
  • Assist with scheduled HR processes, including PTO anniversary adjustments and other routine updates.
  • Support the maintenance and accuracy of the HRIS, ensuring employee records are current and compliant.
  • Pull and format HR reports as needed for audits, internal reviews, and leadership requests.
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Participate in cross-training within HR to build team versatility and provide departmental support.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and digital file management system.
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in an HR or office environment.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Apple/Mac products.
  • Strong proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Sheets, Google Docs) and Microsoft Office, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective time management and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the HR field.
