The role 

Proxymity are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented US Market Implementation Specialist to join our NYC-based team. This role will focus on researching and implementing US investor communication protocols, establishing efficient processing protocols for broker distribution of publicly listed company announcements, customizing invoicing processes to comply with SEC regulations, and collaborating with development teams on project management. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter with a passion for precision, compliance, and innovation in investor communications. 

Key responsibilities: 

  • Conduct in-depth research on US investor communication protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. 
  • Develop and implement streamlined processing protocols for the distribution of publicly listed company announcements through brokers and other financial intermediaries. 
  • Customize invoicing processes to align with SEC rules and regulations regarding reimbursement for investor communications, ensuring accuracy and compliance. · Collaborate with development teams to manage projects, including defining requirements, setting timelines, and ensuring successful execution of technical solutions. 
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication and distribution protocols, proactively identifying areas for improvement. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SEC regulations, financial communication trends, and industry standards. · Act as a liaison between internal teams, brokers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and project alignment

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or IR certification) preferred. 
  • 3+ years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, or a related role within the financial services industry. 
  • Strong understanding of SEC regulations and compliance requirements related to investor communications and reimbursement. 
  • Proven experience in project management, ideally collaborating with development or technical teams. · Exceptional research and analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable protocols. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. 
  • Proficiency in financial software, invoicing systems, and project management tools (e.g., Jira, etc). 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
