Responsibilities

The LOA Payroll Coordinator is responsible for timely, accurate calculation and data entry of employees’ use of paid time off while on a leave of absence. Effectively interacts with the Human Resources department, managers and staff regarding payroll issues related to leaves of absence. The LOA Payroll Coordinator works with electronic time and attendance system, HRIS and leave management software to ensure accurate payment.  Has the ability to communicate with staff at all levels.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:

 

1.    High School Diploma.

2.    Two (2) years’ experience in leave of absence pay (Includes paid sick leave, paid leave, vacation, short term disability, state wage replacement benefit and company paid leave) is required.

3.    Two (2) years’ experience in Human Resources in a leave management or generalist related position, with a minimum of one year of experience specifically in leave of absence administration of both continuous and intermittent leaves is required.

4.    Hands-on experience with Excel or equivalent is required.

5.    Experience with Timekeeping System is required.

Prime Healthcare offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. Our Total Rewards package includes, but is not limited to, paid time off, a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and many more voluntary benefit options. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $22.00 to $29.61. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
