Recruiter
Phoenix Processor, headquartered in Seattle, manages an at-sea fish processing vessel that operates in Alaksa and off the West coast. Established in 1988, we have a reputation as a great place to work and for producing top quality fish products sold in the domestic and international markets.
We are currently searching for a team oriented, energetic, organized, and efficient Recruiter to join our Human Resources Department.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with candidates efficiently through the application and interview process to create a great candidate experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate information and recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees into the organization.
- Use social networks, advertising, websites, etc. to increase recruiting and company awareness.
- Assist HR team with other related tasks
- Minimum one (1) year HR or Customer Support experience.
- Experience and knowledge of commercial fishing not required, but helpful.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment, and deal with variables in situations where timely hiring is crucial to vessel operations.
- Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Smartsheets

Pay Range - up to $34 per hour based on experience
