Curriculum Development/Revision and Review
Program Planning
Course development, classroom/clinical instruction and assessment of students
CoARC Accreditation Compliance
Student advising and evaluation
Develop and maintain relationships within the community
Participate in department meetings, program advisory committee meetings, and college-wide events.
Promote and recruit for program within and outside of the College.
Promote diversity, equity, inclusion and cultural competency.
Salary Range: $44,144.00 - $96,906.00
Minimum Qualifications
Associate's degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program.
Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience as a registered respiratory therapist.
One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Current Minnesota RRT license (Minnesota Board of Medical Practice) and current CPR instructor certification
Preferred Qualification
At least two (2) years in clinical respiratory care.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience teaching either as an appointed faculty member in a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor for students of such programs.
