As an HR Generalist at Lou Bachrodt Automotive Group, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and contributing to the overall success of our dealership. You will be responsible for various HR functions aimed at attracting, retaining, and developing top talent, while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.


RESPONSIBILIITES


Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Mediate conflicts and facilitate resolutions to maintain a harmonious workplace culture.

HR Policies and Compliance:

  • Interpret and enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay updated on HR best practices and industry trends to recommend policy enhancements and process improvements.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in enrollment and maintenance.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and benefits providers to address inquiries and resolve issues effectively.

Performance Management:

  • Support performance appraisal processes by providing guidance to managers and employees, facilitating feedback sessions, and tracking performance metrics.
  • Assist in identifying training and development needs to enhance employee skills and competencies.

HR Data Management:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Generate reports and analyze HR metrics to support decision-making and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR roles, preferably in the automotive industry or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS software and MS Office Suite.
