We welcome candidates from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply. Learn more about our story and mission on our Culture and About Us pages. Let’s shape the future of customer engagement together!

About the Role:

As a Group Product Manager at Iterable, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of how our customers engage with billions of consumers worldwide. This is a hybrid leadership position where you will both directly manage a high-performing, globally distributed team of Product Managers and serve as an individual contributor for our Channel App Experiences across mobile and web.

You will lead our Content Personalization & Channels portfolio, owning some of the most visible and impactful surfaces in Iterable. This includes message channels, content delivery, and intelligent personalization powered by AI. Your work will directly influence the end-to-end user experience across various content creation and channel experiences (email, push, in-app, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, and more), building seamless, personalized journeys that empower our customers to connect meaningfully with their audiences.

We are seeking a customer-obsessed leader who combines technical depth, AI fluency, and sharp product instinct. You should thrive in fast-paced environments, love solving complex user problems, and be equally comfortable diving deep into execution as you are setting long-term strategic vision.

What You'll Get To Do:

  • Lead & Develop: Recruit, mentor, and coach a global team of Product Managers, fostering their growth and ensuring high performance across time zones (Lisbon, West Coast, East Coast).
  • Strategic Ownership: Drive the comprehensive product strategy and roadmap for our Content Personalization & Channels portfolio, ensuring alignment with Iterable's vision and evolving customer needs.
  • Individual Contribution: Serve as an Individual Contributor (IC) for Channel App Experiences, overseeing product development for existing channels (SMS, Push, Social Messaging) and branching into new, strategic channels across mobile and web.
  • AI & Personalization Champion: Champion AI-powered personalization strategies that enhance relevance, user engagement, and drive meaningful outcomes for our customers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Design, Engineering, Customer Success, Sales, Marketing, and other Product teams to deliver intuitive UX, powerful APIs, scalable platform capabilities, and support adoption and business outcomes.
  • Customer & Market Insight: Deeply engage with customers and internal stakeholders to uncover pain points, surface insights, understand customer personas and use cases, and prioritize high-impact product features and enhancements.
  • Execution Excellence: Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from concept and requirements definition (including user testing and data analysis) to launch and post-launch optimization, ensuring scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Industry Expertise: Research industry trends, including the SMS messaging landscape (delivery, compliance), to identify new product features and opportunities.
  • Leadership Contribution: Contribute to Iterable’s leadership culture through strong storytelling, serving as a voice of the customer, driving robust cross-organizational collaboration, modeling systems thinking, and delivering executional excellence.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 8+ years of progressive Product Management experience, with a minimum of 2+ years managing and leading Product Managers.
  • Proven experience as an Individual Contributor (IC) Product Manager for mobile and web product experiences.
  • Strong technical fluency, comfortable discussing APIs, SDKs, platform tradeoffs, and collaborating effectively with engineering teams.
  • Deep knowledge and demonstrable experience in content personalization and AI-driven user experiences.
  • Track record of shipping scalable, cross-platform features and delivering intuitive mobile UX and developer-facing tools (SDKs/APIs) in agile environments.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Customer Success, and internal SMEs.
  • A bias for action, clarity, and delivering exceptional customer value.
  • Strong data analysis skills and proficiency in using data to drive decisions (e.g., SQL, Excel, Looker).
  • Experience with user growth and engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work effectively across time zones and with diverse global teams in a shifting environment.

Bonus Points:

  • Prior experience in both B2B and B2C product environments.
  • Background in developing mobile/web messaging, communication, or content delivery platforms.
  • Familiarity with compliance landscapes for various messaging channels (SMS, WhatsApp, etc.).
