Implementation (New Build) Specialist

  • Job Summary:

    The Configuration and Implementation (New Build) Specialist for the Risk Strategies Employee Navigator Team will be responsible for configuring and implementing Employee Navigator for new clients. This role involves ensuring that the platform is accurately configured to meet specific requirements, testing configurations for functionality, and collaborating with internal teams to support seamless implementation. This position is not client-facing but requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and experience with benefits administration technology.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Platform Configuration:
    • Configure Employee Navigator based on project requirements and specifications provided by internal teams and clients.
    • Set up benefits plans, employee groups, and other necessary configurations to ensure the platform meets the needs of various projects.
    • Assess collection of data and documents for accuracy and alert Account Manager of any concerns or issues.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and configuration to maintain the integrity and functionality of the platform.
  • Implementation Support:
    • Collaborate with Account Managers and other internal teams to understand configuration needs and project timelines.
    • Provide technical support during the implementation phase, ensuring configurations are correctly applied and tested.
    • Assist in developing and maintaining implementation plans and schedules.
    • Facilitate seamless transition to service team with adequate documentation and communication.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Perform thorough testing of configurations to ensure they function correctly and meet project requirements.
    • Identify and resolve any configuration issues or discrepancies.
    • Document testing results and ensure any issues are addressed promptly.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain detailed records of configuration activities, including setup parameters, changes, and testing results.
    • Generate regular reports on the status of configurations and implementations.
    • Create and update internal documentation and guides related to configuration and implementation processes.
    • Identify system limitations and submit enhancement requests.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with internal teams, including Account Managers, to ensure smooth implementations.
    • Communicate configuration and implementation status, issues, and resolutions effectively within the team.
    • Provide technical insights and recommendations to improve configuration processes and implementation efficiency.
    • Stay informed on new system features and release functionality.
    • Escalate product concerns to vendor technical contact.
    • Assist team with annual benefits renewal as needed.
  • Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software configuration, implementation, or benefits administration technology. Experience with Employee Navigator or similar benefits administration platform is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong technical proficiency with software configuration and implementation.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in benefits administration or HR technology.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Experience with data management and reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
