Senior Tableau Developer
We have a request from our customer for a Tableau Senior Developer. This is a long term project.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, design, develop and publish Tableau Cloud Reports
- Develop Tableau Data models and recommend best practices for report creation and visualizations
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather business requirements for Analytics and Reporting
- Collaborate with Data Engineering team to create Data marts design
- Troubleshoot reporting issues and tune report performance
- Build and modify tables, views and optimize SQL queries, indexes as needed
- Implement security on developed Dashboards in accordance with security and access requirements
- Create technical documentation for the BI Solution
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
- 5+ years of Reporting and Analytics using Tableau
- Excellent knowledge of Functions, Data Modelling, RLS, parameters
- Ability to optimize dashboard performance (e.g., minimizing load time, query tuning, extract scheduling)
- Understanding Data Warehouse, Data Lake and ETL concepts
- Mastery of SQL

- Experience with Power BI
- Experience in CPG industry
