Summary: Generates revenue by promoting sales of new and existing corporate products to business and industrial establishments by performing the following duties.

  • Attain proficient technical knowledge of Rockwell and non-Rockwell products via in-house, factory and online training to assist customers with basic product selection and troubleshooting. ·
  • Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, bingos, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
  • Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.
  • Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.
  • Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers.
  • Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
  • Processes orders by answering telephone calls and e-mail, verifying, and entering items, transferring orders to fulfillment, explaining stock-outs and expected delivery dates.
  • Builds and maintains customers relationships.
  • Works with outside sales representatives to keep account activities up to date in CRM.
  • May travel to and attend trade shows.
  • Prepares and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders or determine reason for loss of order.
  • Updates the CRM data base with prospecting information.

Develops a deep knowledge of HESCO’s key vendors, products and solutions to be able to:

· Explain the scope of all our solutions and position accordingly in relation to an organization’s requirements.

· Understand the technical and application aspects of key products and solutions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED or one year certificate from college or technical school; and 2-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with PLCs & I/O, Industrial Control Components, HMIs, Drives & Motion, DCS, Sensors, Safety Products, Signaling Devices, Fuses & Power Protection, Distribution & Control Transformers, and Network Switches is desired.
  • Knowledge of Rockwell and non-Rockwell Automation products
  • Knowledge of electrical products is preferred.
