WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Amid an exciting phase of growth, Genesis is actively scaling our go-to-market (GTM) strategy and related tactics across Sales, Marketing, Client Success and Partners. A successful Analyst will play a truly critical role directly influencing and driving progress against our two (2) most important outcomes – growth and Client health. If you’re looking to build an incredible foundation of knowledge and experience within SaaS and partner with leaders and colleagues who “have done it before”, this may be the opportunity for you!
Our ideal team member is driven to learn and build across the full Client lifecycle (i.e., lead to pipeline to post-sale) and in doing so, you will be responsible for creatively utilizing analytics, automation and AI to drive outcomes and culture change. You’ll see the business from many lenses, you’ll have C-suite exposure and you’ll have a wealth of great humans to learn from, however, you MUST be able to ruthlessly prioritize and develop a deep understanding of what will drive the highest impact against our goals.
Proactivity and thoughtful collaboration will be rewarded as you will seek to move fast, but with proper context. Finally, you will be highly action oriented, but you’ll seek to inform that action with a lens on best practices relevant to Genesis – from both internal and external, market sources.
THE EXPERIENCE THAT YOU WILL BRING
Our ideal team member is naturally curious, seeks to learn from others and seeks out highly relevant best practices; genuine humility is a must and a willingness to support colleagues across functions as we all collaboratively work to develop and test hypotheses. Finally, our ideal team member is quick and nimble when gathering information to inform recommendations and decisions – they’re thorough and organized without seeking perfection and without allowing us to “spin our wheels” before moving ahead with key decisions and/or initiatives.
Functional Experience:
• 1+ years early / mid stage SaaS experience with exposure to and some ownership of either top of funnel marketing & sales tactics OR post-sales adoption, servicing and expansion tactics (multiple internships count as relevant experience)
• Proven track record of growing your influence and/or scope of responsibility within previous role(s)
• Experience working with top of funnel marketing data (i.e., leads, lead sources, campaign/event ROI, conversion rates) OR Client data (i.e., product usage, support tickets)
• Experience turning data into insights and utilizing those insights to tell compelling stories, drive decision making and drive behavior change – proven track record of successful adoption of recommendations
• Experience contributing to a roadmap of systems enhancements in line with GTM approaches and data driven insights
Technical Skills & Capabilities
• 2+ years of experience using, enhancing and analyzing data to derive insights, especially utilization and blending of data across various sources / systems with primary focus on excel, potentially SQL

• Hands on exposure building automations and delivering insights to Client-facing teams using tools like Zapier, Fathom, Rattle
• Strong prioritization & project management experience to be leveraged across various areas of the RevOps team’s scope including GTM cadences, enablement programs and systems roadmaps
Behavioral Characteristics:
• Highly motivated to identify improvement opportunities, diagnose root causes and be a change agent to drive improvement
• Proactive, clear communicator who brings stakeholders together around a common understanding of opportunities and objectives
• Diligently prioritizes time and effort in line with outcomes and places highest importance on impact (over activity)
• Capable of thinking strategically, a few steps ahead while also prioritizing and executing on iterative milestones to drive incremental progress, improvement
• Constantly seeks to learn from both internal and external stakeholders; does so in line with business objectives and seeks the right opportunities to apply learnings for maximum impact
