Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley is seeking an experienced and passionate TRUSS Restaurant + Bar General Manager. This Department Head-level position is perfect for a hospitality-driven leader who thrives on creating unforgettable guest experiences, inspires excellence within their team, and brings a sharp eye for both service and operational detail. A strong background in high-end dining and a genuine love for hospitality are essential. This role is eligible for an annual incentive.
What you will do:
As the TRUSS Restaurant + Bar General Manager, you will:
Lead, develop, and inspire the TRUSS team, including managers and line staff, to uphold Four Seasons culture and deliver exceptional service.
Recruit, train, coach, and evaluate employees, fostering growth and building a high-performance team culture.
Ensure consistent execution of Forbes Five-Star service standards, maintaining excellence in every guest interaction.
Act as the face of TRUSS, cultivating guest relationships, increasing loyalty, and enhancing the overall guest experience.
Drive strategic planning for TRUSS operations, setting long-term goals and identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.
Collaborate with Auro’s team on bar and cocktail programming and support operations in Auro when needed.
Manage labor and operational expenses through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control—while focusing on revenue growth.
Partner with Marketing, PR, and F&B leadership to design and execute promotional initiatives that elevate brand visibility and drive traffic.
Ensure operational excellence and compliance, including health, safety, facility maintenance, and local regulations.
Foster a positive, open-door leadership environment, resolving issues with emotional intelligence and creating a workplace culture rooted in respect, communication, and collaboration.
What you bring:
Education:
College Degree Preferred, specializing in in hotel/restaurant management or equivalent experience required.
Experience:
Three to five years’ previous experience in multiple food and beverage department head positions.
Previous Restaurant General Manager experience required.
Knowledge of Napa Valley and surrounding areas, highly desirable, however not required.
Experience required in a luxury and/or Michelin starred environment.
Skills and Abilities:
Excellent food and beverage product knowledge spanning all areas.
Strong communication skills: verbal, written and oral presentation skills.
High level of Emotional Intelligence.
Action and results driven – able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to multi-task in a high volume and demanding environment.
Strong business acumen: Knowledge of food & beverage service, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting. Strong beverage knowledge.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
Requires ability to operate computer equipment and other food & beverage computer systems.
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Spanish not required but desirable.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Valid Permits: Food Handlers and RBS.
What we offer:
Salary Range: $100,000 - $105,000
