Join us on our mission to empower founders and innovators to move faster, live better and access more.
FoundersCard is a global membership community of over 250,000 entrepreneurs, executives, and innovators. Our members enjoy unparalleled access to elite travel perks, business benefits, and a curated network of like-minded leaders—all designed to accelerate their success.
We’re entering an exciting new chapter of growth and innovation, and design is at the heart of it. As our Principal Product Designer, you will help reimagine the FoundersCard digital experience on mobile and web - our public facing site, onboarding, benefits discovery, and member engagement. This is a high-impact role where you’ll lead end-to-end product design, user research, UX writing, and experimentation across our platform.
If you’re a hands-on design leader who thrives at the intersection of craft, strategy, and innovation and you want to help shape the future of a premium lifestyle + business brand - we should talk!
What you'll do:
- Own and elevate the FoundersCard experience. Lead design across our core product surfaces (web, mobile, member dashboard), refining UX and UI to deliver a seamless, premium experience that aligns with our premium brand.
- Lead with craft and clarity. Design intuitive, elegant user flows using modern design tools. Deliver thoughtful interaction models and polished visual design. Work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality implementation
- Drive user-centered innovation. Conduct generative and evaluative research (including user interviews, usability testing, and behavioral analysis) to deeply understand member needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Uplevel the entire experience. Rethink navigation, benefit discovery, personalization, onboarding, and renewal flows using data and direct feedback from our members.
- Build a design system. Standardize components, patterns, and guidelines across platforms while advocating for simplicity, accessibility, and scalability.
- Prototype with the future in mind. Explore AI-driven interfaces, personalization strategies, and lightweight ML-enhanced tools to enrich the member experience.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing. Collaborate on product strategy, growth experiments, and lifecycle initiatives. Be a key voice in defining our product roadmap.
- Champion design culture. Lead critiques, mentor junior designers and UX writers, and foster cross-functional understanding of what great design can do.
What we're looking for:
- 10+ years of product design experience, including deep work on consumer-facing (B2C) experiences
- A strong portfolio that showcases exceptional interaction design, UX research, and visual polish
- Demonstrated ability to conduct, synthesize, and apply user research—both qualitative and quantitative
- Experience with personalization, segmentation, or lifecycle UX is a strong plus
- A modern design toolkit (Figma, Principle, etc.) and fluency in prototyping techniques
- Curiosity and exposure to AI-driven tools or workflows, especially as applied to UX.
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/React)is a bonus
- An entrepreneurial mindset—you can operate independently, prioritize effectively, and make high-quality decisions with limited structure
What's in it for you:
- A pivotal role in redefining a premium product experience for 250K+ paying members
- The opportunity to drive product-led growth through design
- A high-impact role in a lean, profitable, founder-led company with real momentum
- Opportunity to build a small team as we scale
- Competitive compensation: $170K-200k base salary, plus comprehensive benefits
- Free lunch and snacks at the mid-town office every day
