- Expertise in US GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge.
- Experience with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics 365.
- Proficient in Excel and familiarity with SQL.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead all technical accounting issues for SpaceX, Starlink, and subsidiaries worldwide under US GAAP and local GAAP.
- Document accounting issues and conclusions and lead discussions with external auditors.
- Account for non-routine transactions including business combinations and investments.
- Review complex customer contracts and collaborate with finance teams to forecast and record contract accounting.
- Partner with tax teams on accounting impacts related to tax rules.
- Develop global accounting policies and procedures for US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP.
- Drive automation and process improvements across finance functions.
- Support statutory audit filings and ensure consistent global policy adherence.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.
- CPA license required.
