Material Operations Intern (Fall 2025)

As a Material Operations Intern, you'll dive into exciting projects focused on making our materials supply chain more efficient, cost-effective, and reliable. You’ll get hands-on experience improving critical processes, working with various teams, and exploring innovative solutions that directly impact Formlabs' operations and bottom line.

Internship Term: Fall 2025 (September 8 to December 19, 2025)
Commitment: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Location: Onsite in Somerville, MA (in-person)

The Job:

• Support initiatives to improve efficiency and reduce costs in materials operations
• Help manage inventory effectively by balancing availability and minimizing waste
• Collaborate closely with teams across R&D, logistics, and manufacturing
• Document and communicate your findings and recommendations clearly to company leadership

You:

• Have a background in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Have strong skills in project management, task tracking, and documentation
• Are proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, including Pivot tables and PowerQuery
• Possess strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities

Bonus Skills: 

• Familiarity with ERP systems
• Experience with Python, Tableau, or SQL
• Previous experience in materials operations
