Senior Infrastructure Engineer
Skills
- 5+ years in DevOps or infrastructure engineering with production AWS systems.
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
- Strong programming skills in Python or Go, and shell scripting (Bash).
- Hands-on experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and EKS/Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with observability tooling such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog.
- Experience with self-service infrastructure platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Develop and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines with tools such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
- Implement observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) and lead incident response efforts.
- Build reusable infrastructure modules and automation frameworks to accelerate service provisioning.
- Architect and operate cloud infrastructure on AWS focusing on high availability and cost optimization.
- Enforce infrastructure security best practices in collaboration with security teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor engineering teams to promote DevOps culture and platform engineering best practices.
- Develop self-service infrastructure capabilities to empower product teams with autonomous deployment.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
