THE ROLE: (Sr.) Account Executive

Location: Northeast

 

Purpose of the Role:

As an Account Executive at Eclypsium, you will be a driving force behind our growth, ensuring that enterprise customers recognize the unique value and urgency of our Supply Chain Security. Your efforts will directly contribute to increased adoption, long-term customer satisfaction, and a robust, expanding pipeline of opportunities.

 

Key Outcomes:

Expand and Nurture Relationships: Cultivate a thriving network that consistently generates new business opportunities with enterprise accounts, leading to sustainable growth for Eclypsium.

Deeply Understand Customer Needs: Uncover and articulate customer priorities, translating them into compelling reasons to adopt Eclypsium’s solutions and driving urgency in the sales process.

Deliver Exceptional Customer Experiences: Ensure customers remain engaged and satisfied throughout their journey, fostering loyalty and advocacy for Eclypsium.

Drive Product Adoption and Expansion: Keep customers informed and excited about new features and enhancements, resulting in increased product usage and upsell opportunities.

Enable Data-Driven Decision Making: Provide clear visibility into sales activities and territory performance, empowering the organization with actionable insights for strategic planning.

Accurate Sales Forecasting: Contribute to reliable, forward-looking sales forecasts that support Eclypsium’s business planning and resource allocation.

 

Who Will Thrive in This Role:

We seek individuals who are energized by building meaningful relationships, have a proven ability to drive business outcomes in dynamic environments, and are passionate about making a difference in cybersecurity. The ideal candidate will be deeply curious about customer business drivers and will understand how our company addresses them. Success in this role is measured by your ability to deliver results, not just by years of experience or specific qualifications.

 

Background & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of progressive sales experience in cybersecurity or enterprise software 

  • Strong sales track record within a startup environment 

  • Above average ability to communicate product value at a technical level 

  • Top notch interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, startup environment
