About the Role
We’re seeking a transformative and results-driven Vice President of Sales & Business Development to lead our commercial growth strategy and execution across the U.S. This high-impact role reports directly to executive leadership and is responsible for leading Sales Planning, Sales Operations, National Category Management, Shopper Marketing, and serving as a strategic partner to Revenue Growth Management (RGM).
With 5 direct reports and 8 indirect reports, this leader will oversee a $20 million shopper marketing budget and an $11 million sales operations budget, ensuring all efforts align with business objectives and deliver measurable value.
The VP will play a crucial role in managing trade investment strategies across all categories and channels, overseeing a $280 million trade budget that drives over $1 billion in net sales. As a key liaison between the Field Sales SVPs and Marketing, this leader will ensure seamless execution of the annual business plan while shaping the company's five-year strategic roadmap.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will lead the national sales planning, sales operations, category management, and shopper marketing functions, owning key strategies and budgets that directly impact our commercial success. You’ll design and execute trade and channel strategies across categories, manage a $280M trade investment budget, and oversee the S&OP process to ensure forecast alignment and growth delivery. Acting as the strategic link between field sales and marketing, you’ll identify business opportunities, close performance gaps, and drive execution of our five-year growth plan. In partnership with cross-functional teams, you'll align sales efforts with marketing, finance, and revenue management priorities while leading, developing, and empowering a high-performing team to consistently deliver against business objectives.
About You
You are a seasoned commercial leader with at least 15 years of experience in sales and business development within the CPG industry, bringing deep expertise in P&L ownership, trade strategy, and team leadership. You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or finance (MBA preferred) and have a strong track record of driving growth through strategic planning, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. Known for your financial acumen and ability to influence without direct authority, you are a skilled communicator and negotiator who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments. As a people-first leader, you inspire high performance and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. You’re results-driven, forward-thinking, and passionate about building winning teams and strategies that deliver lasting business impact.
