Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements across sectors and geographies aligning with firm objectives and risk tolerance
- Lead claims and litigation efforts, managing outside counsel and developing legal strategies prioritizing firm outcomes
- Develop and maintain the firm’s claims and litigation management processes including policies for legal holds and electronic discovery
- Partner with Human Resources on employment-related compliance, policies, and claims
- Enhance department processes, systems, and tools for scalable legal functions
- Provide legal guidance throughout project lifecycles to mitigate risk and maximize outcomes
- Lead firmwide legal education initiatives and foster strong cross-organization partnerships
- Collaborate with outside counsel and internal stakeholders to deliver practical legal advice
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
