- Proven capability working with technology-driven regulatory oversight.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage the Americas Compliance function including outsourcing arrangements related to AML/KYC and compliance operations.
- Act as the Compliance and Banking Secrecy Act Officer for Copper US.
- Manage Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combatting Terrorism Finance (CTF) regulatory compliance and reporting processes.
- Develop and deliver ongoing compliance training programs for staff and management in the Americas.
- Align compliance control frameworks with Americas regulatory and licensing requirements.
- Provide legal and regulatory advice to the business and support the implementation of new regulations.
- Represent Americas Compliance in management and governance forums and prepare high-quality reports for the board and executive management.
- Monitor regulatory changes and contribute to product review and approval processes.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications in compliance or law is preferred.
