About The Role

The Data Analyst will play a critical role in transforming complex financial and operational data into meaningful insights to support internal stakeholders. This position requires a blend of analytical expertise, business acumen, and communication skills to deliver actionable visualizations to stakeholders. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in data manipulation and visualization, and thrives in an audience-focused, results-driven setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Collection and Preparation: Gather, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources, including financial systems, practice management tools, and third-party platforms, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

• Reporting and Visualization: Create compelling, interactive dashboards and reports using our team’s modern BI stack to communicate insights to stakeholders.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, automate repetitive tasks, and enhance data quality through best practices and innovative solutions.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accountants, consultants, and senior leadership, to align data initiatives with business objectives.

• Compliance and Security: Ensure all data handling complies with industry regulations and internal policies, maintaining confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

What you’ll need:

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Business or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or data analytics certifications) are a plus.

• Experience: 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within professional services, financial services, or consulting environments.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.).

  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, HRIS Systems, CRM platforms, or financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite) is a plus.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret complex datasets, understand intricate relationships between tables, identify actionable insights, and solve problems using a data-driven approach.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data analysis and reporting.

• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

• Time Management: Ability to leverage internal project management tools to track execution against priority tasks, collaborate with team members, and adhere to delivery dates.

This position will be fully remote, with ideal candidate in East Coast time-zone preferred. We offer flexibility in managing your schedule to maintain a healthy work-life balance while meeting business needs.

This position offers a competitive base salary range of $80,000-100,000 annually, plus a performance base bonus both commensurate with experience and qualifications. Base salary may vary depending on candidate qualifications and location.
