Responsibilities
- Maintain deep understanding of Commvault’s business and financial operations.
- Lead tax workstream for M&A activities including due diligence, integration, and restructuring.
- Develop and implement tax-efficient deal structures aligned with corporate objectives.
- Execute cash repatriation strategies from foreign subsidiaries optimizing global liquidity.
- Drive global transfer pricing strategy, documentation, and compliance.
- Monitor global tax reforms and develop strategies to mitigate adverse effects.
- Conduct complex tax research relevant to software industry, M&A, and new business models.
- Manage federal, state, and international income tax audit defense.
- Oversee international tax compliance filings ensuring integration with US tax returns.
- Participate in cross-functional projects supporting business decision-making from a tax perspective.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Juris Doctor (JD) and/or LL.M. in Taxation strongly desired.
- CPA license or active bar membership (Attorney) required.
