Proposal Manager (Public Sector)
Skills
- Deep knowledge of US federal and SLED public sector procurement and RFx management
- Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and state-level procurement frameworks
- Experience applying proposal best practices such as Shipley and APMP methodologies
- Strong communication and collaboration capabilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines independently in a lean team
- Proficiency with RFP management software (Responsive, RFPIO, Loopio)
- Competency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office productivity tools
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end development of RFx responses ensuring compliance and timely delivery
- Collaborate with sales, product, and channel teams to assess opportunities and craft win strategies
- Build trust and provide guidance on proposal processes to various stakeholders
- Create tailored, customer-centric proposal content by synthesizing inputs from cross-functional experts
- Support public sector bids across North America and contribute to commercial responses as needed
- Continuously improve proposal processes to increase efficiency and win rates
- Maintain a central repository of proposal content, templates, and reusable assets
- Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related field or equivalent experience
