Job Summary

The PMO Learning & Development Program Manager (PgM) is a trusted consultant that provides program or portfolio management across multiple initiatives that enable the development and enhancement of CDW’s Project Management (PM) community. The PgM provides strategic, consultative guidance and manages complex programs, including oversight of Project Managers assigned to workstreams. The PgM owns all aspects of program delivery, from initiation to closure, with a focus on learning and development outcomes. This role is integrally involved with business stakeholders across CDW’s U.S., Canadian, and Indian teams, and may partner with PMO leadership to align efforts with strategic priorities. Programs are typically of significant complexity and support a mix of mainstream, legacy, and emerging methodologies and tools. The PgM leads cross functional teams, to ensure a consistent and cohesive enablement experience for PMs.. The PgM works well within ambiguous circumstances – bringing process and order, transforming uncertainty into actionable plans and deliverables. In this role, the PgM also leads the design and execution of scalable learning strategies that grow certification rates, accelerate time to proficiency, and strengthen the global PM community. The successful PgM balances scope, risks, dependencies, across multiple initiatives to deliver on defined business outcomes. Success is measured not just by program execution, but by the PgM’s ability to grow confidence, capability, and contribution across CDW’s internal PM organization.

Learning & Development Enablement

  • Design, execute, and continuously evolve scalable learning strategies that grow certification rates (e.g., PMP, SAFe), accelerate time to proficiency, and close skill gaps across CDW’s PM population.
  • Own the onboarding experience for new PMs, ensuring clarity of role expectations, delivery practices, and cultural integration across regions.
  • Manage the PM learning portal strategy, ensuring resources are easy to find, up-to-date, and aligned with real-time needs.
  • Partner with field leaders and managers to create targeted enablement solutions, development playbooks, and performance support tools.
  • Lead programs and engagement experiences that strengthen the PMO community—such as quarterly forums, recognition initiatives, and peer-led learning.

 Leadership

  • Takes accountability for program results and holds contributors accountable for their scope of work. Ensure deliverables meet standards, timelines, and strategic intent.
  • Instills trust and alignment with stakeholders by building strong relationships, adapting to change, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
  • Demonstrates ability to diffuse uncomfortable situations with calm, solution oriented thinking.
  • Leads efforts to continuously define, contribute and to improve our overall project management knowledge base across solution areas. Develops standards, best practices and team-wide training initiatives.
