As an MRI Device Coordinator, your efforts help propel this mission. In this role, you will oversee project activities within your department, ensuring organization and flow. Your work is critical to the team, as you help facilitate the environment fellow caregivers need to work efficiently and cohesively.
A caregiver in this position works Monday-Friday, from 7:00am – 3:30pm.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Collect, maintain, and report information for the department such as; patient information, budgets, employee PTO and schedules.
Assist with the coordination of various department activities by distributing reports, facilitating the analysis and reporting of information.
Research MRI devices for compatibility with various MRI units across the enterprise
Function as department liaison by coordinating various activities and providing customer support to internal and external customers.
Communicate with patients to obtain device information. Coordinates service and provide special instructions as requested by internal physicians and referring physicians.
Assist with performance evaluations, counseling, and on-boarding of new employees.
Perform duties related to the preparation, implementation, and analysis of special studies and projects.
Maintain office supplies and equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of three years' experience coordinating and assisting with management functions and special projects; proficient with spreadsheets, word processing and database software.
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
A minimum of two years of administrative experience preferred.
Working knowledge of computerized appointment/OR scheduling systems, patient billing, insurance processing, or other related office functions to coordinate patient access.
Related experience in an area that provides broad knowledge of medical terminology that includes patient registration, patient billing, insurance processing or appointment/OR scheduling preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Requires extensive sitting and manual dexterity to perform work on a PC.
Typical physical demands include the ability to sit, stand, or walk to other locations as needed.
Visual acuity to perform computer functions.
