Senior Recruiter

BDG is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition to join its growing Human Resources team. This role will support full life cycle recruitment and will collaborate and strategize with hiring managers to successfully fill open roles across the company, including the sales/marketing, operations, and editorial teams. 


Past experience should include demonstrated success in all aspects of recruitment from sourcing and reviewing applications to designing interview plans and screening candidates. 


The ideal candidate should be a highly self-motivated team player with strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask. They should have excellent collaboration capabilities and bring extraordinary judgment and interpersonal skills to the role.


Recruiter Responsibilities
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for roles ranging from individual contributors to senior leadership, ensuring a high-quality experience for both clients and candidates
  • Develop tailored recruitment strategies in close partnership with hiring managers to meet evolving business and talent needs
  • Design and implement structured interview plans aligned with company hiring practices and best-in-class candidate evaluation standards
  • Act as a strategic talent advisor by developing outreach strategies and ensuring key leaders are supported with proactive, high-quality candidate slates
  • Lead year-round Sales talent pipelining efforts, proactively sourcing and engaging top sales talent in alignment with company growth objectives
  • Coordinate and support onboarding activities to ensure a seamless transition for new hires in partnership with HR and hiring managers
  • Collaborate with payroll and cross-functional teams to enter new hire data into HR systems; coordinate communication, onboarding setup, and support I-9 verification and other onboarding tasks as needed
  • Schedule and organize interviews across departments, ensuring timely communication between candidates and internal stakeholders
  • Review and manage job postings through Lever (Applicant Tracking System), ensuring alignment with role requirements and company branding
  • Conduct resume reviews and phone screenings, partnering with hiring managers to evaluate candidate fit
  • Source passive candidates using tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, employee referrals, networking, databases, and other creative outreach methods
  • Ensure a consistently positive and timely candidate experience from initial contact through offer acceptance
  • Maintain accurate applicant records, requisition status, and communication history in Lever and related HR systems
  • Manage and collaborate with third-party recruiting agencies as needed to enhance sourcing efforts
  • Build and maintain diverse, high-quality talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs


Requirements
  • 5+ years of full lifecycle recruiting experience, ideally in the media industry or similar
  • Capacity to build relationships and trust with candidates and hiring managers
  • Knowledge of inclusive recruiting best practices
  • Experience creating and improving upon a great candidate experience
  • Excellent sourcing skills
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills
  • Great teammate, willing to hop in to help the team when needed


$80,000 - $95,000 a year
Compensation may vary depending on experience, location, and other business-related factors.
