We are seeking a technically adept and mission-focused Sales Engineer to support our U.S. Army and broader Department of Defense (DoD) accounts. The role will serve as the technical lead in pre-sales engagements, helping shape customer solutions and translating operational needs into ALL.SPACE capabilities. 

As a key member of the sales and business development team, you will work closely with Army end-users, acquisition stakeholders, and internal product teams to ensure technical alignment, demonstrate product value, and accelerate adoption of our advanced SATCOM technologies. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES  

1. Provide Technical Leadership in Sales Activities 

  • Serve as the primary technical advisor for U.S. Army and DoD customers during pre-sales and post-sales engagements. 
  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations, technical briefings, and proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations tailored to Army mission needs. 
  • Translate customer operational requirements into ALL.SPACE configurations and deployment strategies. 

2. Support Strategic Account and Capture Planning 

  • Collaborate with account managers to define account strategies and identify technology fits for customer pain points. 
  • Contribute to opportunity shaping and proposal development by providing technical input and system architecture guidance. 
  • Attend customer meetings, industry days, and military exercises to support capture and solution alignment. 

3. Coordinate Cross-Functional Solution Development 

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and integration teams to tailor solutions for Army use cases and mission profiles. 
  • Provide feedback from field engagements to influence product enhancements and roadmap planning
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and execution. 

4. Ensure Technical Readiness and Training 

  • Support system evaluations, field trials, and interoperability demonstrations with Army units and system integrators. 
  • Assist with integration of ALL.SPACE terminals into larger tactical networks and communication architectures. 
  • Provide training, documentation, and technical support during pilot deployments or transition to production phases. 

5. Maintain Market and Technology Awareness 

  • Stay informed on SATCOM technologies, tactical waveforms, and evolving Army communication requirements. 
  • Track competitor offerings, technology trends, and government standards impacting the tactical communications space. 
  • Represent ALL.SPACE in technical working groups, conferences, and joint demonstrations. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent military technical experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in defense communications, tactical networking, or SATCOM systems engineering. 
  • Familiarity with Army communications architecture, acquisition programs, and field deployment practices. 
  • Strong communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance. 

 

Preferred additional skills: 

 

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree. 
  • Prior experience with DoD SATCOM integrators or prime contractors. 
  • Strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills. 
  • Experience working in a startup or high-growth company environment. 
  • Willingness to travel 25% or more, including to military bases, industry events, and partner sites
