The Mental Health Quality Improvement Specialist plays a critical role in supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives for the mental health department by conducting thorough chart reviews. This position involves identifying areas for process enhancement, engaging in problem-solving efforts, and ensuring compliance with established standards. The Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams to implement improvements that drive the effectiveness of mental health services. Additionally, they manage special projects focused on enhancing service delivery within Wellpath’s client contracts. Through these efforts, the Specialist contributes to the overall goal of maintaining high-quality mental health care.
