The Opportunity:
The Product Manager will collaborate with a product team (typically 5-6 engineers, scrum master, business stakeholders) responsible for a specific product or product group. This role will work with a high level of autonomy and discretion to drive customer and business goals. Responsibilities will include the implementation and execution of the product strategy.
This role will maintain the roadmap and backlog and establish the key performance indicators (KPIs) and Bowler metrics for a specific product. In addition, the Product Manager will contribute towards the development and presentation of detailed business cases to senior executives and lead business reviews to ensure that the team prioritizes the right work and delivers the most customer value in the fastest time possible.
What we’re looking for
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, CIS, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in a related field); Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field preferred
Experience:
8 years of IT experience
Experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of solutions applying development life cycles (SDLC)
3 years of experience leading global technology teams with direct report responsibility
2 years of experience working closely with senior leadership
3 years of experience in managing operational and/or financial budgets, including the managing of 3rd party vendors and/or software providers
Experience in a leadership role of a large matrixed organization preferred
Experience managing the development, implementation, and integration of multiple and/or complex business systems within an organization preferred
IT consulting experience preferred
Experience in IT Management in the retail industry preferred
4 years of experience in software development in an agile environment preferred
Second level IT management experience preferred
How you will thrive and create an impact
Builds OKRs and/or Bowler metrics for product scope to support product portfolio and organizational OKRs and drives alignment with business partners.
Owns customer/user journey for a given product/feature level. Makes decisions that impact user experience on feature usability with engineering.
Defines and measures customer success metrics to ensure the product scope supports the overall product OKRs.
Articulates how product features relate to the product vision and builds a roadmap for all partners.
Leads agile ceremonies and works with the team to provide clarity of expectations. Aligns necessary workstreams from team members to achieve the value of their product.
Prioritizes and ensures the delivery, support, and execution of a high-quality product.
Works with other product managers and business leaders to understand trade-offs and prioritization of features based on overall product vision. Influences feature design trade-offs to drive critical/mass adoption.
Works with product leadership and provides input for engineering priorities of their defined product space.
Participates in product marketing and uses it to drive deep understanding of the product they own with peers and leaders.
Drives product plans for their defined product space and leverages data to help drive alignment.
Defines objectives (functional and technical) and data required for analytics needed either independently or in conjunction with business partners for their product. Defines key metrics of the product and consistently monitors the health of the product and business impact.
Partners with engineering teams to build tracking/monitoring systems needed to get to the data.
Writes and contributes to user stories that can be consumed by the engineering teams.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$102,200.00 - $170,300.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
