Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Technical Product Analyst (multiple openings) in Foster City, CA to Assess business requirements and create clear, thorough, and detailed user stories for complex features and product sets. Understand the as-is billing of the products that need to be automated and create business process flows and workflows. Perform reverse engineering and create documentation for billing, risk and compliance systems. Be the primary liaison between other business units, engineering, and other applicable groups to ensure flawless integration of new and existing feature sets into billing, risk and compliance systems. Provide data extracts from various databases to business teams to support business operations. Deliver automation projects with engineering teams from a prioritized backlog. Participate in daily scrum meetings. Develop deep understanding of the transactions and data generated by various billing, pricing, risk, compliance and upstream platforms. Find actionable insights through exploratory analysis, impact accounting, and experimentation. Communicate and evangelize data driven insights to ensure the product teams are building the right things and moving the right metrics. Ensure that our data is trustworthy, reliable, and easy to access. Ensure that user experience and design thinking are part of the solutions you build for end user. Work on data analytics initiatives and create decision making systems. Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Basic Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or closely related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
• Analyzing bottlenecks and providing solutions to improve performance and resolve issues;
• Hadoop;
• SQL;
• Unix;
• Understanding complex data models and writing complex database queries for RDBMS, Hadoop and NoSQL;
• Understanding data integration implementations using Power Center, Tableau or Power BI;
• Talend;
• Salesforce; and
• Jira Align or Rally

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position does not require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $128,398.00 USD to $182,300.000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
