The successful candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration to shape enterprise-wide AI standards and playbooks and lead the implementation of scalable governance practices across the AI lifecycle in close partnership with GDO, Legal, Risk, Privacy, Technology and Business teams.

Primary responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and continuous refinement of Visa’s enterprise-wide AI governance standards, frameworks, and playbooks, ensuring alignment with Visa’s AI Principles and global risk posture.
  • Partner closely with the Global Privacy Office (GPO) and Government Engagement (GE) teams to monitor, interpret, and incorporate evolving regulatory requirements—such as the EU AI Act—into Visa’s internal AI policies and control frameworks.
  • Support the implementation of governance controls across the AI lifecycle, including ViDA360 assessments, model risk management, and red teaming for generative AI and LLMs in partnership with other teams – GDO, Privacy, Risk MRM, Technology.
  • Support establishment and maintenance of risk monitoring programs, including fairness, explainability, and performance assessments, to ensure responsible AI deployment.
  • Engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand AI implementation challenges and opportunities and adjust the Policy guidance accordingly.
