Job Description
As a Legalman, you will provide paralegal support to JAG Officers in various aspects of military law and policy administration, assist service members and their families with legal matters, prepare legal documents, conduct interviews, perform legal research, support trials, manage offices, maintain records, and handle appeals and clerical duties. You could work in diverse environments including offices, ships, air squadrons, and bases across the globe.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- U.S. citizenship
- Good writing and communication skills
- Excellent hearing, attention to detail, and typing skills
- Completion of Recruit Training (Boot Camp) and an 11-week course at the Naval Justice School
- Prior Active Duty experience for Navy Reserve candidates
