We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our growing team in Akron, OH. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about planning, organizing, and supporting the execution of successful corporate and client-facing events.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate events, seminars, and networking functions
Collaborate with vendors, venues, and internal teams to manage logistics
Prepare materials and supplies for event setup
Support onsite event execution and troubleshoot as needed
Maintain accurate records of event details and budgets
Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and participants
Handle post-event tasks such as feedback collection and reporting
Qualifications
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, hospitality, or related field preferred
Previous experience in event planning or administrative support is a plus
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event planning tools
