Junior Test Engineer

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Tester to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Collaborate with business analysts, customers, users, project leaders, and developers.
• Review and test software requirements, use cases, user stories, and designs, focusing on Moodle customizations and multilingual features.
• Define test plans and test cases; design test scenarios and scripts.
• Execute functional and regression tests across browsers, devices, and platforms to ensure consistent web and mobile performance.
• Plan, conduct, and analyze load and performance tests using JMeter; log defects and re-run tests after fixes.
• Coordinate daily testing activities and maintain clear documentation of results.
• Support incident diagnosis and apply workarounds to restore functionality, especially during Moodle migration.
• Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions.
• Validate data integrity and reporting features for ongoing reporting and data warehouse projects.

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Possess at least a Bachelor's degree
• Have no less than 4 years of experience in IT.
• Minimum 3 years work experience and knowledge of test management and defect tracking tools JIRA, Confluence and Test Rail.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience in the manual testing of a Learning Management Systems (LMS), with preference for Moodle (good knowledge of architecture, functionality, and common issues. Mandatory experience of installations of at least 500.000 users and supporting more than 5 languages.)
• At least 2 years of experience with JMeter.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with automated testing and test implementation using frameworks like Selenium.
• Experience in the test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.
• Very good knowledge of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, integration, performance, exploratory, user acceptance testing), technologies, tools and techniques.
• Proficiency in English language at a minimum B2 level.
