Summary of Job Duties:

The Organizational Change Analyst role manages the people side of technology and organizational change, which involves preparing, supporting, and equipping people to adapt to change. The primary responsibility of the Organizational Change Analyst is to implement management principles and plans that maximize employee adoption on projects. The Organizational Analyst will partner with the Organizational Change Manager to develop and execute plans to facilitate changes in technological initiatives.
As the organization embarks on transformational change, this position will be responsible for actively listening to stakeholders, rationalizing change in a way that enables end-user adoption, improves overall performance, and proactively identifies and addresses the organizational impacts and challenges.
The Organizational Change Analyst will partner with the Organizational Change Manager to develop and execute plans to facilitate changes that impact end users and partner with other organizational change community groups across campus, project managers, and supporting teams to coordinate end-user engagement and support throughout the change process.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Deliver key outcomes for enterprise technology initiatives by ensuring change practice is being followed.
• Ensure stakeholder engagement, facilitate end-user adoption, and enhance organizational performance by addressing impacts and challenges.
• Develop and facilitate effective communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the change process.
• Work with stakeholders to develop, prioritize, and execute the IT initiatives/projects.
• Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate the success of change initiatives and make data-driven adjustments as needed.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent professional experience

Applicable equivalencies may be considered on the above qualifications. 

  • At least one year of experience supporting strategic change initiatives in IT, preferably in Higher Education

  • Familiarity with PROSCI or similar change management frameworks

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels

  • Proven success in overcoming resistance and building commitment to change

  • Knowledge of institutional technology tools, data analytics, and reporting

  • Understanding of IT delivery life cycles and associated processes

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Knowledge and understanding of a higher education organization, including goals and objectives, and policies and procedures

  • Knowledge of project management principles, business case development, and organizational change management

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills

  • Strong service focus and stakeholder engagement skills

  • Analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills

  • Comfort with ambiguity and responsive to changing circumstances

  • Ability to self-start and create effective project plans

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and a wide range of stakeholders

  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with limited supervision

  • Ability to provide direction and use interpersonal influences to gain goal alignments with results versus activity-oriented outcomes

  • Ability to have a positive attitude and a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving
