Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Experience in college student programming, community outreach, volunteer management, or a related area
Experience with facilitating student leadership
Applicable equivalencies may be considered for the above qualifications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in education, higher education, public administration, social work, or other fields from an accredited institution of higher education
Experience supervising, advising, and mentoring college students
Experience working with planning and assessing student programming
Experience managing budgets and writing grants
Moderate proficiencies working in higher education platforms such as CampusGroups, GivePulse, and Blackboard
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
Proficient knowledge and skill using computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and oral communication skills
Well-developed customer service skills
Highly organized with the ability to work on multiple tasks
Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills
Role requires flexibility in scheduling to support student and community partner needs
Has a teamwork and collaborative mentality, while also being able to work independently
Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events and student meetings
Ability to establish and maintain filing and other record keeping systems
Ability to operate standard office equipment
Ability to analyze documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
