BDR Manager

Workshop is a fast-growing, venture-backed startup based in Omaha, Nebraska, focused on delivering software for employee-centric communication. They seek a skilled BDR Manager to lead and inspire their business development team to drive growth through strategic lead generation and sales management.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with outbound sales processes and playbooks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Results-driven with proven sales target achievement
  • Knowledge of B2B sales processes, lead generation, and pipeline management
  • Analytical skills for data-driven decision making
  • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Hubspot and sales engagement tools
  • Self-motivation and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and inspire a team of BDRs with coaching and performance feedback
  • Develop and implement strategies for generating qualified leads and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to optimize lead generation and conversion
  • Monitor performance metrics to evaluate team and individual success and implement improvements
  • Conduct ongoing training on product knowledge, sales skills, and objection handling
  • Align BDR activities with sales leadership’s revenue objectives
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and potential customers
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies
  • Improve lead qualification and handoff processes with Account Executives

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • MBA is a plus
