Engagement Specialist

Join our dynamic healthcare team as an Engagement Specialist, where you'll play an active role in helping people improve their health and well-being. This rewarding position combines relationship building, healthcare support, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives.

You will partner with out expert Health Coaches to ensure members receive personalized care and support. Responsible for coordinating and managing essential health education resources.

You will work with a supportive, collaborative team of healthcare professionals. Opportunity to build skills in healthcare communication and coordination.

• 45% Contacts identified potential Disease Management members and motivates the member to engage with the health coach. Coordinates the initial assessment time with the Health Coach
• 20% Ensures quality customer service by responding to phone inquiries from members, physicians and providers. Prioritizes workload to meet program or regulatory time frames.
• 15% Mails the educational information as directed by the Health Coach. Responsible for tracking of educational supplies.
• 15% Provides general office support for team and/or department which may include answering phones and responding to questions, opening and distributing mail.
• 5% Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years of customer service or healthcare experience
• Excellent communication skills and a naturally friendly demeanor
• Basic medical terminology knowledge (preferred)
• Computer proficiency
• Desire to help others and make a positive impact
• The Ideal Candidate: a people person who thrives on building relationships and helping others. You will need to be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities. Most importantly, you have a genuine interest in healthcare and helping people live healthier lives.

• 2 days/week
