Responsibilities
- Advocate for clients in IRS negotiations, securing installment agreements and Currently Not Collectible statuses
- Respond to IRS correspondence and manage compliance issues and appeals
- Review client financial information to formulate resolution strategies
- Collaborate with clients for accurate financial data collection
- Review and submit Power of Attorney forms (Form 2848) to the IRS
- Prepare and submit IRS documentation ensuring compliance
- Audit case files for completeness and accuracy
- Manage and update case pipeline within CRM system
- Enter detailed notes and update case statuses in CRM
- Monitor case progress and communicate with clients and stakeholders
- Develop creative solutions for complex tax cases
- Work independently and as part of a team to exceed performance goals
Education
- Must hold active CPA or Enrolled Agent license or be a licensed Attorney
